Product information "MKS TOURING LITE EZY SUPERIOR"
The TOURING-LITE Ezy Superior is an upgraded traditional-style double-sided pedal that with minimal care will last a lifetime. We recommend this pedal for general cyclist who are looking for excellent performance in a user serviceable pedal to take on the go!

TOURING-LITE features MKS’s High-Polished Cup and Cone bearing system for smooth rotation and serviceability, combined with a directional wave shape tooth profile on the step plates to keep your foot from slipping without the need for straps or toe-clips (although straps and toe-clips are compatible).

The MKS High-Polished Cup and Cone bearing system upgrades our standard cup and cone bearing system by hand polishing the functional interior surfaces and using a higher grade of bearing balls which results in extremely smooth rotation. The TOURING-LITE cage plates are easily customer replaceable if worn or damaged.

The patented Ezy Superior system allows for safe, rapid, and tool less removal of pedals for travel, storage, or flexibility. Particularly popular as an upgrade for folding bicycles, those who take their bikes on mass transit, or travel bikes with coupler systems our Ezy Superior system can dramatically improve ride quality while saving space.

MKS
MKS is the pedal brand of Mikashima Industrial Company Limited. The Mikashima Industrial Company was founded as an aircraft component manufacturer in 1943, converted its operations to pedal manufacturing in 1946, and was established as a limited company in 1949.

Our 70+ years of operations have been managed by the Ogino family, and is currently led by President Toshiyuki Ogino with guidance from Chairman Kohichro Ogino.

MKS has persevered when most of our competitors have failed. There was estimated to be 40 pedal manufactures in Japan in 1946, while only 2 remain today.
